Digital Fauna

For my Augmented Reality (AR) Design Final, I decided to play around with the photo-tracking function I learned in my class where my camera was able to detect photos of dirt and rocks and place a 3D plant on it. This project was inspired by a time where my mother failed to take care of succulents I planted for her as a gift so I wanted to bring my plants back to life through AR with their old plant pots. I was also inspired by the idea of utilizing AR as a way of keeping record of things that do not exist anymore.
